Alphacon Capital Pty Ltd (ABN 71 697 564 471, ACN 697 564 471) operates as a private lending business providing short-term commercial mortgage finance to companies and trusts. We are not a regulated credit provider under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (NCCP) - all lending is for commercial purposes to entities with an active ABN.

This policy is prepared in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information.

• Our funding partners and their credit teams (for the purpose of assessing your loan)
• Valuers, solicitors, and settlement agents involved in your transaction
• Credit reporting bodies (Equifax, Illion) for identity verification
• AUSTRAC and other regulatory bodies as required by law
• Our technology service providers (hosting, email) who are bound by confidentiality obligations

We will not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Overseas disclosure

We use cloud-based service providers to help us operate this website and process enquiries, including hosting, email delivery, SMS verification, and address-lookup services. Some of these providers store or process personal information on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

7. Data security

We store personal information in secure, encrypted cloud-hosted databases with access restricted to authorised personnel. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law - for example, to meet record-keeping obligations under anti-money laundering and taxation legislation. When information is no longer needed for any purpose, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

9. Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies on this site fall into two groups. Essential cookies keep you signed in to the portal, hold your place in a form and remember the choice you make below; they are always on, because the site cannot work without them. Analytics and advertising cookies measure how the site is used and how our marketing performs; they are off unless you turn them on.

Nothing in the second group loads before you choose. A notice at the foot of the page asks you on your first visit, and until you accept, no analytics or advertising script is requested and no such cookie is set. If you accept, the tools that may then run are Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Turning analytics off stops the scripts loading, reloads the page without them, and deletes the analytics cookies this site has set in your browser. Cookies already set on a third party’s own domain are outside our reach and expire on their terms; your browser settings can clear those.

Our online loan assessment tool uses artificial intelligence to provide a preliminary indication of whether we may be able to assist with your enquiry. By using this tool, you consent to us collecting the information you provide for the purpose of assessing your loan enquiry and contacting you to discuss your needs. The assessment is not a credit decision, offer, or commitment to lend.
